Regular fee: 400 CHF
PhD Students: 300 CHF

Covering conference attendance and abstract booklets as well as a welcome drink on Sunday and the conference dinner on Tuesday evening.

Please read all of the following instructions carefully before starting your registration.
If you have any questions concerning the procedure, please contact the conference secretariat before proceeding with your registration and board and lodging booking.

All the information below is for paying participants only. (Invited speakers and organizers will receive information on their registration directly from the conference secretariat.)

The procedure has 3 separate steps:

Step 1: Registration and payment of the registration fee

Fill in and submit the registration form.

(The procedure offers an intermediate step in which you can upload an abstract. This is no longer necessary, since abstract submission and review have already been done. Uploads via registration form will not be reviewed.).

After submitting the form, you are directed to a secure credit card payment page, where you can pay the conference registration fee. Read and accept the terms and conditions. Information about Registration fee and Cancellation policy you can find on our Conference Website.

Fill in the appropriate amount and the credit card data to finish your payment.Once the payment is done correctly, you will get a confirmation email. This email will contain a code and the link that you will need to access the booking page for step 2.

STEP 2: Meals booking and payment

This platform is now opened until 17 August, 2018 - Please book your meals and hotel room as soon as the booking portal opens. The number of hotel rooms is limited.

Once you have paid the registration fee, you can go to the Monte Verità external pageMeals Booking Platform. Input the code you have received in the 2nd confirmation E-mail (step 1) to access the Meals Booking Platform.

The welcome drink on Sunday and the conference dinner on Tuesday, will be offered and paid by the Wood Nanotechnology Conference Organizers. Participants have to book and pay for all the other meals. It is expected that participant book the meals package at Restaurant Monte Verità, even if they are staying at an external hotel.

Meals must be booked and paid before the registration deadline (August 17, 2018) After that date the Meals Booking Platform will be closed and we will not be able to accept any more bookings. Once the meals booking and payment is successfully finished, you will be directed to the Monte Verità hotel booking page for step 3

STEP 3 Hotel booking and payment

This platform is now opened until 17 August, 2018. Please book your meals and hotel room as soon as the booking portal opens. The number of hotel rooms is limited. Here you can check availability and prices and if you find a room that fits your wishes and budget, you can go ahead and book it at a reduced rate.

Please note

- Availability of single rooms is limited and some have a shared bathroom. Please read the rooms descriptions carefully.

- If you wish to book a shared double room with a colleague, both names must be mentioned at the time of booking.

- We have reserved some double rooms for those participants who want to share with any other participant. Please contact us in that case:

- If you wish to book a shared double room with an accompanying person (not active participant), both names must be mentioned at the time of booking and you must select the “accompanying person” option (accompanying persons do not get the reduced room rates).

In case there is no availability at Hotel Monte Verità or in case you do not wish to stay at Hotel Monte Verità, you can look for another hotel in the nearby Ascona village. But be aware that from the post office of Ascona it is about a 20 minute walk uphill to the Monte Verità conference centre.

Cancellation policy

Until 31.07.18: 25% refund

After 31.07.18: no refund

Board and Lodging fees:

The cancellation policy for booked meals and bedrooms is dictated by the payment conditions of the Hotel and Conference Centre Monte Verità. Those are given on the Hotel Web page at the moment of booking and payment.

The congress organizers cannot accept any liability for personal injuries sustained, or for loss or damage to property belonging to congress participants (or their accompanying persons), either during, or as a result of, the congress. Registration or accommodation fees do not include insurance.

By registering and paying your fees, you accept all the above terms and conditions.
